Wallace Foundation: OST Management
OST programs are in the spotlight now more than ever, being widely recognized as a cost effective approach to improving academic and social outcomes for youth in every community. This increased attention is, of course, a blessing for communities and schools, but, for some, it can be a curse. More funding may be available for programs, but often times the "red tape" (convoluted reporting requirements, cumbersome reimbursement procedures) proves too much to surmount, particularly for organizations that are still growing. The Wallace Foundation takes a look at how organizations can improve their management, and how funders, from the Feds to local municipalities, can streamline their processes.
